Well I suppose it's good in the sense that I'm not the only one and that they might be aware of it and fix it eventually.

I don't know what the problem is (although I've read lots of opinions on the matter) and as long as I am using KDE NEON User Edition with Btrfs and can do the dance I probably won't be changing to something else.
