Re: update (big one) with also .15 kernel destroid my system :-(

After i spotted the .16 kernel in the update list is went ahead an tried again, no cigar :-( what has changed is that after a CTRL-ALT-DEL and a login, i can now "sudo mount -o remount,rw /" (it then continues to boot but ends with a kde config error, no problemo, /home not mounted (sigh) command line option, mount /home and system boots, but no network, no wired, no wireless.. 8-/ Desktop seems to be up and running, all programs appear to run alright.

i then tried to set all to mount and enable at boot, but a reboot did not change a thing, such a shame!

I am afraid i have to wait till final version arrives and do a full clean install (again).

    Problematic this Hardy, very problematic..

hmm, ok, since the beginner i am did not know about ALT-F2 to look at what is happening, i found out just now what the holdup on boot is (it seems) "no IPv6 routers present" is the last line and then it all stops.. Waiting 1 hr still not any further.
At the start of the boot it mumbles something about a driver not compatible, but it goes to fast, cant see what that is all about. Why would this be a problem and not with the .12 .13 and .14 kernel? weird.. Ah well it is a beta ;-)
But any idea to solve this would be very welcome!
I try and find a log for the kernel .16 boot, maybe that helps :-(

      Thanks, Wilco
