Looks like it has a way to go yet. Installer keeps crashing. Well, it'll get there. Wonder if I can use grml/rescueboot to boot the iso? Have a free partitionComment

I just tried an install on an HP 6 x AMD FX 6100 core processor with a DVD of the daily build burned as of this date.
The installer failed five times returning to the effect of: "did not get secure boot key"

so it would seem that the fix has not yet been incorporated into the Kubuntu daily build.

if you use this link, you will automatically get the latest daily iso build:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/daily-live/current/
zsync is a nice way to update the image without having to download the whole thing. Only the bits that have changed are downloaded, so it can be a very small amount.
Install the package zsync, then open a terminal to the directory with your current iso, then:

Going straight to install live then clikcing install 16.04 produce same result.

FYI The link provided by Snowhog (thanks), will now fail because only two daily-builds are available for download.
Use the next folder up and select the most current build:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/daily-liveKubuntu 24.04 64bit under Kernel 6.10.2, Hp Pavilion, 6MB ram. All Bow To The Great Google... cough, hack, gasp.Comment
