[CONFIGURATION] No option to change splash, look and feel, or login themes

Hello all,

Background: I just upgraded to Kubuntu 15.04, and I want to change the "login screen," "look and feel," and the "splash screen" to the themes I installed prior to the upgrade.

Issue: In system settings, the settings for all of these are "Breeze." I see no options to search for and install one of my choice.

Can you help me?

You are looking for SDDM themes, the new login manager. Not sure where you get them offhand, but I noticed there are several in my Arch install, including Maui and Maldives.

Hello All! Sorry for the delay. I was able to change the background pictures on all settings by used the command:

kdesudo dolphin

...to open dolphin with root privileges. I then navigated to the folder where the background pictures were stored, and replaced them with new ones. Hurray for that! :-)

To answer LinkBot's question, yes, SDDM is my login manager. Will I be able to create my own themes using the resources at https://github.com/sddm/sddm ? Don't I have them already installed?

If I can use them to make new themes, could you tell me how? I haven't found any instructions on that yet, even after a Google and YouTube search. Can you point me in the right direction again?
