    Link to konsole?

    Hi,
I am trying to create a link for konsole on the desktop. Can some tell me where the app resides so I can link to it. I would also like know how I can use konversation to connect to #kubuntu on irc.freenode.net so I may get help from there too. I have never used irc clients to chat before.
    Many thanks in advance.

Konversation > File > Server List > New

    - Server: irc.freenode.net
    - Channel: #kubuntu

In the K Menu, under System, right click on 'Konsole Terminal Program' and select 'Add Item to Desktop'.

Something I have really missed while being forced to use windows at work is Alt-F2. Press Alt-F2 and type in konsole and hit <Enter>.

It does autocompletion for you...I merely get the k in the box and 'konsole' shows up.

A default system has katapult installed too so you can ALT+Space then k o n... until you see konsole and hit enter. CTRL+C when the katapult popup is open will let you 'Configure Katapult'.
