I have a dell dimension 9150, just want to know if I install kubuntu 6.06 on it, will it know the drivers, is there a check I can run with the live cd then

The live CD gives you an actual Kubuntu environment to play around with without affecting your hard drive.

If something works during your live CD session, it's very likely to work on a real installation. Same deal for stuff that doesn't work.

thanks, it looks like I have no sound, should I go to dell then, it is quite newish as model
