    Google Eath+Linux Problem

    Good evening everyone!

I downloaded and (at least tried) installed the Google Earth in Edgy, but when i try to open it, it flashes the Startup screen and then nothing happens, i checked out the "log" of the install and here it is:

X Error: BadDevice, invalid or uninitialized input device 168
    Major opcode: 145
    Minor opcode: 3
    Resource id; 0x0
    Failed to open device
    Installing mimetypes...
    Installing desktop menu entries...
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x5a
    DRM_i830_CMDBUFFER: -22

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

I'm not entirely sure, but it sounds like you need to install your graphics drivers. What type of graphics card do you have?

      Don't have one.

I have an Intel D946GZIS motherboard, and it uses the Intel GMA 3000 as graphic accelerator.

Then that is the graphics card. It's just built in.

Try going to the Intell website to find a Linux driver.
