    Volume Control Mixer

Ive got a newly installed Edgy Kubuntu system, I'm using a Audigy 2 Soundcard. I have been trying unsuccessfully to allow it to output digital sound. yesterday I had a nspeaker icon on my desktop which gace a volume control along with a mixer option. Clicking the mixer allowed mye access to a switch that toggled between analogue (which worked) and digital (which doesnt seem to). My sustem seem snow to be stuck in digital so I can get any sound. But the speaker icon has disappeared, and so I can't toggle back to analogue. I tried to add the speaker aplet to the panel but this just gives me the volume controls on the various channels and not the option to click mixer and toggle off digital. Anyone know how I can do this?

    Thanks

Run KMix. It's in K Menu -> Multimedia. If it's not there, press Alt+F2 and type in "kmix" (without the quotes).
