Hi everyone,
I recently installed Linux Mint KDE and a few days later I came to notice that they will not longer support it, so I decided to switch to Kubuntu. The thing is that when I installed it and created my user, I checked the Home encryption option. And no I'm wondering if I can continue using my encrypted Home folder (it's in separate partition). Will it work if when installing Kubuntu I create a new user with the same username and password as before and selecting my old Home folder as my current Home folder (considering is encrypted)? Or should I backup all my files somewhere, format all the partitions, install Kubuntu with a brand new Home folder and recover my files after?
Thanks in advance!
