In the interim, you can use an online converter to go from mp4? to mp3 if you download the video.Kubuntu 14.04 / KDE 4.13.3 / GRUB Version: 0.97-29ubuntu66

I ran Linux Mint KDE 17.3 for three months earlier this year. It is a fine distro. Their community forum recommends this .
Here is one use of ffmpeg
ffmpeg -i foo.mp4 -ar 22050 bar.mp3
You can use 44000 for higher fidelity if the source provides it.Last edited by GreyGeek; Jun 02, 2016, 07:39 AM."A nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people.”

This will do it. Just tested it. A bit slow on the upload probably due to my low end DSL. http://www.onlinevideoconverter.com/convert-mp4-to-mp3Kubuntu 14.04 / KDE 4.13.3 / GRUB Version: 0.97-29ubuntu66
