Hello, i tried googling for the results but nothing really helps. I installed kubuntu on my hp laptop its only about a year old and it runs fine but i keep getting tearing when watching videos. I tried installing the linux graphics installer and it helped but it still happens not sure what to do next. Any help would be appreciated!

Go to system settings>monitor>compositor and under VSync choose full screen repaints.
I am using it for a long time. No performance problems and no tearing
