    Screen Resolution

    Hello,

I have looked in 'System Settings' but I cannot find my screen resolution. Can some point me towards the right application?

    Thank you

Good news, I have found the utility.

    A supplementary question.

I am experimenting with background images. I assume that if the image matches the resolution of my system then it will not be distorted (highest quality). However, I have found the same image at two resolutions where the lower resolution seems to be of higher quality compared with the image at higher resolution.

Is there more to quality than resolution?

    Thanks

      Can be.

If the same picture were 'created' at different resolutions, then both would have the same quality when viewed at their respective resolution (size). However, if a smaller size picture is 'resized' to a larger size, then the quality of the larger picture will be degraded (unless the source picture is .svg (vector graphic) and the resized picture is saved as .svg (with the application that resized the picture being capable of saving to .svg format).
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
