    default widget removal

    Hi!

I have just installed Kubuntu 15.04 with plasma 5.2.2. Impressed by the way everything looks (coming from ubuntu unity and xubuntu). I have
encountered two problems I cant seem to solve on my own.

    1. the widget that is located on the screen (upper left) called default. I want it removed from the screen. Is this possible?

    2. i want to change the background of the login page. But when i go to: system settings -> startup and shutdown -> login screen, and change the picture from one
i downloaded from the internet. It does display my picture in the preview. But when i logout the old default login pic is shown. Also nog change after reboot.

    Best regards,

    Valentin.

      #1 is possible: https://www.kubuntuforums.net/showth...desktop-widget

Not sure about #2, but I remember reading other reports here that the module wasn't working properly, so you needed to manually edit /etc/sddm.conf.

Plasma 5.3 from backports may have fixed it.

The emptytoolbox.plasmoid is gpl so uploading it.

            metadata.desktop:
            ...
            X-KDE-PluginInfo-License=GPL
            ...
