I screwed something up, but what?

I had to reinstall Kubuntu. Don't ask why. It's embarrassing. In any event, I had had two user accounts, mark and mark2. My second hard drive is now owned by mark2 and I can't do anything with it unless I'm logged in as mark2, hardly the point of the second account. What did I screw up and how can I unscrew it? Thanks.

all the directory’s/folders in the path you show should be owned by root ,,,,,,you can open a root dolphin with
    Code:
    kdesudo dolphin
(always use kdesudo NOT sudo to open GUI apps as root) and rite click the folder>property’s>permissions tab and change at will .............
