All Virtual Desktops Showing Same Icons

My desktops used to show different icons, now they show the same icons.

In Workspace Behaviour, Virtual Desktops, I have a tick in Different widgets for each desktop,

I have tried removing the tick, then re-ticking the box

I have tried returning to the Defaults, ticks on and off.

Despite all this, I still cannot return to Different widgets for each desktop,

Please advise

Ps I tried deleting an icon
