Kubuntu 14.10 Plasma 4, shutdown and USB Logitech Media Keyboard Elite LED
Hi guys. I recently installed Kubuntu and so far I'm loving it. I am dual booting with Windows 8.1. I have a question regarding my usb keyboard http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/183. When I shutdown using Windows 8.1, the LED lights on my keyboard are off. When I shutdown using Kubuntu, the F-Mode and NumLock LED lights stay on. If I hit the F-Mode key (which disables the function keys) and the NumLock key manually before shutdown, then the LED lights remain off after shutdown. I know I'm being very nitpicky here, but I was wondering if there is a way (shutdown script etc.) for me to tell Kubuntu to turn off these two keys during the shutdown sequence? I realize the usb keyboard and mouse will still receive power from the motherboard as intended. Thank you!
