You are spending so much time on this issue when there are already solutions like sessions. What does not work about sessions and having yahoo mail open in browser?

I find with KDE that they have already thought of most everything and to much wrangling around is not needed.

The error message suggests that you have the lancelot is in the widget set but for some reason the widget itself is not installed, you can probably get rid of the error by just (re)installing it
      sudo apt-get --reinstall install plasma-widget-lancelot

&& is the logical AND operator, in this context it basically means "run the next command if and when the previous command has finished succesfully (without errors, with exit status 0)"

You can do that with a manually saved session, but there might be the same problem with opening multiple firefox instances during login on different desktops (haven't tried it though)

          UPDATE

On logging in, two browsers tried to start, but again, I received the message saying that another FF browser was running.

The KWallet required a password at the same time.

No sign of the Lancelot message

I have deleted the autorun file that should have placed ighome.com on desktop 1 at bootup.

On logging in, I received a message that two browsers are running and that I needed to close FF.

Yahoo Mail on desktop 4 got stuck and loaded after a click.

Pages are loading very slowly at the moment.

Hoping things will improve after a second re-boot

Ps. KWallet needs a password at the time FF is loading.
            Updates do not install automatically.

              Second Re-boot

Yahoo Mail starts, but on desktop 1. Should be on desktop 4. The code in the Autostart file states desktop 4. I'll delete it if if doesn't self-correct.
