Most desired Desktop Effect has conflict with others. What do I deselect?

Perhaps my most desired desktop effect, Snap Helper seems in conflict with another desktop effect. To retain Snap Helper, I am willing to remove any conflicting Effects. Problem remains in both OpenGL 2.0 and Xrender.

These are the Desktop Effects used In my computer

I don't see why you shouldn't be able to use all effect. Either it's a driver issue, have you tried re-install it?
Other thing I can think of is that it's a theme issue. I've had trouble with effects and Oxygen transparent for instance. Try change the theme/style, see if it helps.

If you are talking about the video card drivers, I did update them. The error message says that I must have OpenGL. I have OpenGl4.2 support. I have a dual-boot with Kubuntu 13.10 64 bit and Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. The OS's run on separate SSD's.
