Is there a browser speed problem on the Internet?
I have an 8 core computer w/16gb of ram operating at 4.2+GHz including an SSD for the OS; yet browser speed is the slowest I have experienced in years. It is as slow as Microsoft.
I am hoping I am wrong and this is a computer related problem. Using the Internet will be unbearable if the Internet is the problem. This seemed to happen without warning, additionally, the speed to open a program is much like it was about 20 years ago.
I have been using Kubuntu 13.04 for quite a while, so it doesn't seem like a glitch in programming, but I suppose it could be an operating system bug. Thanks for any input or confirmation of similar experience.
