Is it possible to click and drag a open Window on desktop 1 to another desktop?

Yes it is, though disabled by default.

System settings > Workspace behaviour > Screen Edges | Change "Switch desktop on edge" to one of the other options.

You should be able to right-click the top border of any open window, and the first item on the menu is "To Desktop >" - expand that and choose the desktop that you want the window on. (KDE 4.7.x)
