    Software RAID1

I wan to set up a sofware RAID1 to mirror /dev/sdb to /dev/sdc, both drives are identicle in size, and model. SDB1 is my home directory and SDB2 is my swap. SDB1 is ext4

I did google searches, but it's information overload...

Well, you are going to have to read and understand any instructions. You have no way around that. So, if you want to install/setup RAID1, you have to do your homework.

Have you seen this How To Set Up Software RAID1 On A Running System (Incl. GRUB2 Configuration) (Ubuntu 10.04)

The caveats are that it may or may not work on newer versions.
