    10.04 - Fresh install, no sound.

    I just installed (X)ubuntu 10.04 on a rather old PC (~5-6 yrs) and I can't get the sound working.
    Nothing is muted in alsamixer but there's no output (see attached screenshots).

    I also tried kubuntu, ubuntu and mint off the live cds and still no sound.
    Any ideas?

    Removed and installed kubuntu 10.04 instead. Still no sound.
