    I need help with a Linksys WRT54G...

    Hi guys;

    I just got my kubuntu CD and I'm going to installed but there is a problem.  I have a liksys WRT54G wireless internet router and I can't find any driver for it.  Can anyone help me with that so I can get access to the internet and my brother's computer on wireless?

    Thanks a lot;

    Batman

    Hey Batman,

    While I'm still a newbie to the whole KDE thing too, routers are easy - I work with em

    Your WRT54G is an ADSL/Cable router, and as such it should not actually require a driver. This router should have an IP on your network, say 192.168.1.1. Generally, DHCP is enabled on these routers too.

    I run a similar device here, and after I installed Ubuntu, my internet "just worked" with no tweaks required.

    Of course, your wireless network is another story completely

    Hope this helps
