Hi, today I have installed new Kubuntu 11.04 and I have a problem, that when I want to boot Kubuntu, it runs only in consele mode. So I have only console login screen and when I login I'm still just in console mode.
I have allready tried Ctrl+Alt+F7 to switch betwen console and classical mode, but it doesn't work.
I'm using dualboot with W7, but Kubuntu is my primary system.
Can you please help me? I'm using Kubuntu just since december, so I don't know, what am I doing wrong.

I tried to configure a GNU GRUB before I started to boot Kubuntu and in that file is written exactly:

Can anybody help me to switch between this text console mode and normal graphical?

Can anybody advice me, how to install an older version of Kubuntu. I would like to reinstall 2.6.35-23 and I would like to know, it it goes without install CD just in console mode.
