Running Kubuntu 10.10 (MM) with cups 1.1 to a Brother Printer type MFC-6490CW on a wired network through a Broadband Router, which until a few days ago all worked fine. No other Linux machine on the network and a separate printer for the Windoze PC's. Now nothing will print apart from the Ubuntu test page sent via the printer configuration under system settings. Everything else appears to be working fine and no changes made other than updating packages every 3/4 days. Any thoughts and suggestions please?

Re: Printer stopped printing.
The Brother print drivers may need to be "reconfigured" for any updated libraries they use. The easiest way to do that is to uninstall the driver and then reinstall it.

The uninstall instructions are in the "More Information" section of the appropriate driver."A nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people.”
