    Google Earth installation help

Hi, I'm running 9.10 Karmic Koala, and I need help installing Google Earth. I downloaded it from their website, but it came in a ".bin" file that I have no clue what to do with . What do I do with it?

    Re: Google Earth installation help

Hi, Here is some documentation on installing GoogleEarth in *Ubuntu.
    https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Go...0 Installation
    (see "Alternative Installation")
However, I prefer to install it without using 'sudo' so it will install it to my home directory (just my personal preference)

If you add the Medibuntu repository Googleearth is available as a package.

I agree with arochester. You are best to use the package manager whenever you can
