So I finally managed to boot Kubuntu from a Kubuntu ISO file on my USB stick, any ideas on how can I install Kubuntu from my USB to dual-boot with windows?
Windows no longer obstructs my view.

when installing kubuntu there is an option during the instal to "install kubuntu side by side windows" select this and you are good to go... i think it is during the partition section of the install (top option)
