    Can kpackage manager be used to remove unused kernels?

    YES- in fact that's the preferd way............so find the Kernel image the Kernel heders and Kernel moduals for the Kernel seres you trying to remove and remove them.......then do

    Code:
    sudo update-grub
    in a terminal to ..........you gessed it update you'r grub menu to remove them from it to

    BUT I would Keep 1 extra (the last one to work well) for a wile eney way (it never hurt's to have a out)

      You don't need to update grub manually. The old kernel entries will be removed automatically by kpackagekit.
