Setting Up Wireles HP Pavilion dv2000 AMD Processor

    Hey,
Im new to the linux scene and plan on sticking with the linux scene. hahah. I have a HP Pavilion dv2000 notebook and it came with vista but now runs windows 7 (which i want to totally get rid of). So I download Kubuntu 9.10 and installed this. It installed properly but I can not get my wireless to work. I've been doing alot of searching around to try and fix this problem but i cant seem to actually get it goin hahaha So Im asking the pro's here if they can help me get my wireless running step by step!
I Sure hope one of you many people here can help me!
    Thank you!

the easiest way to set up your wifi (assusming the device was set up durring install) is to click the "network-manager" icon then click connect to other network (it will only show networks you have set up before in the "main list") from there you should be able to see your network so you can connect it ..
