I wanted to see if it worked or not under KDE and surprise :P it does not....until i use default gnome icon set, then it works but breaks. Sadly i installed it with it's dependencies and i don't know if i like having them in the system so removal time i guess :\.
My question is this: Can it be made to work under kubuntu? I'm not sure the center is a good idea :\ seems less functional then the previous manager for gnome. (buut it's better for newbies i guess).
EDIT: good news, managed to get rid of the software center and all installed dependencies . in case some ppl will run into same problem i'll post workaround for terminal:
1.Open the terminal (Konsole)
2.type: sudo dpkg --configure -a (enter password when asked for sudo)
3.type: sudo apt-get autoremove software-center (enter password when asked for sudo)
4. will ask for y/n (yes or no) regarding removal of dependencies and program (70 mb in all i think), type; y and press [ENTER or RETURN]
done
