    Laptop Touchpad

Is there a way to turn off the touchpad on a laptop? Not to keep it from moving the cursor but just to keep the finger from doing mouse clicks.

I use "GSynaptics". It works great but because it isn't really KDE you have to run it every time you log in. No biggy for me though. I run 9.04 on the laptop that I use it on. Had to modify a particular file to use Shared Memory to get it working. This Link should help on that. This is only for 8.10 and up. Older versions you have to edit the xorg.conf file to use Shared Memory.
