Organising notification area

Hiya All,

I am new to Kubuntu or KDE cause through the years I have been using GNOME and I just noticed that I cannot find a way to control the notification area unlike in Ubuntu. Mine usually appears on top of the desktop somewhere between the middle and the right most area. Somehow, that annoys me cause there are buttons on the toolbars I wish to click but I can't because there are notification balloons from Kopete and Kmail appearing most of the time.

Is there a way I can bring them down? I hope there is a way.

About my system, it is Kubuntu and I have just updated it as of 29 Jan 2009. 8)

If you have 8.10 you need to put the widget "Task Manager" on your Panel instead of on your Desktop.

You can either drag it to your Panel, or delete it from the Desktop and install it on the Panel via the large and small cashews.
