cant find the minimised windows on the desktop on 8.10

hello there..
Am a total newbie and for some reason i am unable to find minimised windows on my desktop on kubuntu 8.10
please help

Im not sure, but you may have removed the the widget Task Manager, if so:

To unlock the widgets(if they are locked)
Press Alt+L , or Right mouse button anywhere on the screen and 'Unlock Widgets'

Add widget Task Manager
Press Alt+A , or right mouse button and choose 'Add Widget'.

In the window select Task Manager and press Add Widget.
That should give you a bar with running tasks/windows, drag it to your panel as you see fit.
