    ok tried that...no joy

    ok i ran the command "sudo lshw" but nothin happend, then tried to run "wicd" network manager but again no joy...all i seem to get is the desktop and just the settings on how to fiddle with it...still not picking up the E160G dongle...o'm jus wondering if ive got the full program...sounds daft i kno

      lshw is no longer included in the Live CD default configuration, AFAIK. But it's in the repos, so just

      Code:
      sudo apt-get install lshw
      then the command will work.
