Cannot acces my HDD +++++ SOLVED

    Hello,

I just re-installed Kubuntu. Before on my USB drive and now on my regular HDD. Seems to work a lot better. However I cannot acces my HDD, I do have acces to my USB HDD.

Are there any usefull tips ??

Another thing is that i have an NVidia videocard. I read this can give me troubles with Kunbuntu. At this moment I sometimes have internet sites which are hard to read because text is overlying other text. Again: Any usefull tips ??

(BTW Toad an Qqmark thanks a lot on my previous post: Cheers !! )

Follow this procedure to install the proprietary Nvidia driver:

Not sure what you mean "access my HDD"? What exactly are you attempting to do? Mount other partitions, perhaps, so you can save and retrieve data from them?

        Re: Cannot acces my HDD

        Hi,

The HDD is NTSF but that was not the problem, cause Kubuntu can read that. I found the settings with which I can acces my HDD. It's at system settings - advanced (this is a tab).

        Problem solved.

        Thanks,
