The nvidia drivers will setup ok, then when I reboot I get input not supported. I have reloaded Kubuntu a few times account unable to access. Then I found this "apt-get remove nvidia". Haven't tried it yet. Can anyone direct to a specific solution for installing Nvidia 6800SLI on Kubuntu 8.04.1 on an intel dual core?
My dial up modem was working great after running scanModem and installing slamr 2.6.24-19-generic. I allowed updates last night about 200MB worth and now it won't work. Ran scanModem again and it says I need to install slamr 2.6.24-21-generic. I have googled around but have been unable to find it. Saw something about it being pulled account bugs. Can anyone tell me how remove the offending piece that was updated so I can go back to slamr 2.6.24-19-generic, or tell me where to find slamr 2.6.24-21-generic? Thanking you in advance.
