Adept installed puTTY, how do I find it's path?

    Hey guys,

My question is: I ran Adept in graphical, installed puTTY and now my lack of linux search (I don't know where to find standard search or really what live search to use) is keeping me from finding it in order to launch it! I'm used to using spotlight on the mac and I'm pretty crippled without, it seems. So yeah, built in search, fav. live search prog, suggestions are all welcome!

One way. Open a console and type:
    Code:
cd / && sudo find -name putty
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007

        WHICH(1) WHICH(1)

        NAME
        which - locate a command

        SYNOPSIS
        which [-a] filename ...

        DESCRIPTION
which returns the pathnames of the files which would be executed in the
current environment, had its arguments been given as commands in a
strictly POSIX-conformant shell. It does this by searching the PATH
for executable files matching the names of the arguments.
