    glucose meter download???

    I have tried searching the archives, and the net, however I have been unable to find a suitable solution to downloading a glucose blood meter into Linux. I have found a couple of projects that started but never finished. I am looking to be able to download a Onetouch Ultra Mini's information into Kubuntu. Does anyone have any info on any ongoing or finished projects?
    Thanks for your time,
    Dinger

    Re: glucose meter download

    1) KPumpe is a diabetes diary application with support for reading records from your glucometer. It supports the Onetouch Ultra and other glucometers where glucomodule plugins are available.

    2) You have to pay, but... http://www.healthengage.com/healthengagediabetes.html ...

    Upload Data Directly from your glucose meter:

    HealthEngage Diabetes supports direct data upload from the following glucose meters for Windows and Mac (additional cable necessary):

    * LifeScan ONE TOUCH® Ultra

    Now available:
    Windows, Mac, or Linux/Unix Desktop
    (single user)
    $59.99

    3) Also found http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...adings-656974/ but "Previously I have downloaded both CoPilot and Precision Link to use. Precision Link worked fine.When I loaded the latest Ubuntu, Hearty Heron, all got wiped." Hmm.
