    dpkg error message [SOLVED]

    midway through the output from
    :~$ sudo apt-get -y dist-upgrade

    I get
<<dpkg: serious warning: files list file for package `thunderbird-locale-en-gb' missing, assuming package has no files currently installed.>>

I had a bit of a battle getting tbird to install a couple of days ago. I did a few rounds of <updatedb> and <locate thunderbird> and nuked everything I found in the process, (new install, new drive, picking up old profile issues yaadaa yaadaa), but it all seems to be working fine now.

    So question is:

what (if anything) do I do about said "serious warning"?

    Re: dpkg error message

Maybe ?: Install and uninstall package `thunderbird-locale-en-gb' through the package management system (apt, aptitude, adept, synaptic...).
    Before you edit, BACKUP !

      tried that:
install gave me the same error, but said it was already the latest ...
remove gave me the same error, but removed
install again ... worked like a charm

      Thank You !!
