Input chinese in Kopete and Openoffice

Can anyone tell me how can i input Chinese in both Kopete and Openoffice?
I'm using K8.04 KDE4 Remix.

Hm... I have same problem with you. My problem occurred after upgrading to Hardy Heron. When still Gutsy, there was no problem in input Chinese. I have been using SKIM since Gutsy. Seems like the OpenOffice problem? Any ideas?

P4 3.06 HT,RAM 512 MB, 80GB HD, Geforce 6200 LE, Kubuntu 8.04
