Searched around and could not find, or didn't know I found, info on this issue. I have a Toshiba Portege R205 laptop, with a dual book Kubuntu 8.04-19 and Win XP. When running Kubuntu the cooling fan for the laptop doesn't seem to run, causing the computer to run quite warm. I've only been using Linux for the past couple weeks, and this is keeping me from using Kubuntu as much as I would like. How would I go about troubleshooting this issue? Thanks
