    Newbie gfx error

    Hi

    I am all new to linux and altered some settings in the Themes section. And now everything is black. The OS cannot draw anything it seems (except the mouse)... must i really install everything from scratch? Or can i reset KDE4 graphics somehow from terminal

    If you are using Hardy (8.04) try booting into recovery mode. It offers an option of (something like) Try to recover Xserver. Try that first.
