    How do you change directories while in terminal?

    The answer to your question is "cd" for "change directory".

    But you need to know more -- this Forum isn't really for bash tutorials. Here are a couple of places to start:

        Thanks Guys,

        You have given me a lot to read and work through, but I hope I stick with it, it looks like it will answer a lot of my naive questions.

        Will let you know if I ever get RealPlayer to operate on my system, once again thanks.
