i just installed gutsy on my presario v6110 and whenever i try to boot it up the screen goes all white then the whole machine locks up entirely. it only seems to let me boot it in recovery mode and from there i can't download any updates that might fix the problem. i'm not too good with Linux so i'm not sure what the problem might be and it's got everyone else i know stumped.
