    Re: Problem with apt-get install

What kind of scanner are you trying to use? It says that it can't replace a file from the iscan package, which is usually for Epson scanners.

Other things you could try would be deleting the downloaded deb files from the cache and redownloading them. Changing mirrors could help too, but I doubt a major country server like Canada's is off.

      Re: Problem with apt-get install

Trying to get Epson 3170 working. This was suggested as alternative since I couldn't get method from Epson to work. Guess I will go back. Could you look at results of my previous tries? Thanks.

        Re: Problem with apt-get install

Do an apt-get clean and then retry. If that doesn't work, you may need to increase the size of your package cache.
