Kmail Korganizer backup

Is there an easy way to backup regularly and automatic all of the important mails, configuration files and addresses in the Korganizer application?

I know where the files are (/.kde/share/apps )
When I tried to let Keep do the job it wouldn't recognize those maps (or directories)
I know also I can manually do an export in Kmail, Kaddressbook and so on, but I'm looking for something what does the job without me thinking about it.
Any help would be appreciated

I was looking for a similar solution last night. What I found was this article here:

The software it recommends, Simple Linux Backup Software, is actively maintained, too. It's a fairly long article and might help to answer some questions.
