Kubuntu vs Debian KDE?.....

Sorry if this has been asked before.....

but what are the pros and/or cons of installing Debian 4.0 versus Kubuntu 7.04?

IIRC in Debian you have install to install all programs with apt-get or aptitude (I say this is a good thing)

In Kubuntu you get a system that works out-of-box. (also good)

I thing Debian repositories are more strict with restricted drivers and "universe(ropository) softare.



It actually depends on what you want. I'm no expert here.
