I've just installed kubuntu on a dell xps gen2 laptop, almost without any problems.
I have however one issue that have kept me up all night
.
The special buttons on the laptop (volume control, mute etc). I tried a program called Lineakd, and it is supposed to create a .conf file in the /home/user/.lineakd/ -directory, but the directory doensn't exist, and the .conf file is not to be found.
Is there another way to get those buttons working?
Help or links to help is appreciated.
