Can't view php files

also can't find synaptic manager. Tried to get a wallpaper of kde look when I opened it with
gwenview it was just greyness. Tried another file same thing. I'm trying to install karamba it's not in the adept manager and I can't find the synaptic manager

I figured it out it won't let you view the pictures till you change the name the php is some sort of block

PHP are actually a totally different animal. They are script files usually used with a language called PHP and a web server like Apache.

As far as installing Synaptic:

sudo apt-get install synaptic
