Can't connect to my wireless adsl router or internet

My PC has a wireless PCI adapter Realtek RTL8185. Kubuntu recognises the card but i can't connect to the router so no internet. Can anyone help?

Hi,

Can you give the result of this command please ?
ifconfig
iwconfig
iwlist <wifi_interface> scan

And also the encryption type used on your network, wep, wpa ?
